JNV Idukki - Milestones

1986 October 22: School comes into existence. First Principal Dr CKC Nair takes charge as first head of institution
1986 December 29 : Admission of First Batch Done on this day. 
1987 January 6 :  Classes started in Painavu campus.
1990 May : Campus shifts to Kulamavu
1993 April 4 : First Batch completes 12th and leaves the school
1994 : JNVI won the Inter School Sports meet held at JNV, Neriamangalam
1995 Nov 5 : First ever alumni meet of JNVI
1997 : 7th batch of JNVI wins First National Youth Parliament
2008 March 31 : Nostalgia 2008, the biggest Navodaya Alumni meet in Kerala unfolds in Kulamavu
2008 June : JNV Idukki tops the CBSE result chart (All India Topper)

2011 Jan 28- 29 : Silver Jubilee Celebrations....the mother of all celebrations !

    During 2003-2204 year our navodaya shifted to the new academic block... and i feel happy to say that we were the last one to enjoy the old godowns and first ones to explore the new buildings...
