Fun Games and Sports - Detailed Plan (Dinil, Siby)

Dear All,

           Here is the updates on sports activities planned…Suggestions still invited….

Time schedule

1: 30 pm:- reporting at sports ground.

1:45 pm:- Football match

2:00 pm:-1) Basketball match

              2) Volleyball match (men & Women)

3:00 pm:-Shot put (Men & Women)

4:00 pm:- Tug of war(Men & women)

General Instructions

1)     Each player should bring their own shorts, T-shirts, Boots, canvas shoes etc etc

2)    No substitution limit for alumini team except in tug of war

3)    Players should report at ground before scheduled time otherwise they won’t be allowed to join the team

4)    Official judgment will be final

Football

1)     Only one match ie Alumini X1 vs Shool team

2)    Game consists of 2 halves of 15 mints with a 10 mints gap in between them

3)    If game ends in a draw, we will go for an extra time for 10 mints. If still it’s a draw we will go for a penalty consists of 5 spotkicks

Basketball

1)     Total 3 teams 1) Ganga      (Alumini 1^st team), : players from 93, 95, 97, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011 batches

                      2) Godavari (Alumini 2^nd team), : players from 94, 96, 98, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 batches

                      3) School team

2)    5 players per side

3)    Game consists of 2 halves of 15 mints with a 10 mints gap in between them

4)    Match schedule will be announced later

Volleyball (Men)

1)   Only one match ie Alumini team vs School team

2)   Winner is decided on best of 3 sets (first 2 sets on 15 and final set is on 10)

1)   Only one match ie Alumini team vs School team

2)   Winner is decided on best of 3 sets (first 2 sets on 15 and final set is on 10)

Tug of War (Men)

1)     Each team consists of 8 members

2)    No substitution allowed without a serious reason

3)    Winner is decided on best of 3 sets

4)    Game scheduled on knock-out base with 2 semi finals & final. No loosers final

5)    Total 4 teams

1)     Yamuna (Alumini 1^st team):-  93, 98, 2001, 2002, 2007, 2008 batches & old teachers

2)    Krishna (Alumini 2^nd team):-  94, 97, 2000, 2003, 2006, 2009 batches & old teachers

3)    Pampa (Alumini 3^rd team):- 95, 96, 99, 2004, 2005, 2010, 2011 batches & old teachers

4)    School team & present teachers

Tug of War (Women)

1)   Only one match ie Alumini team vs School team

2)    Each team consists of 8 members

3)    No substitution allowed without a serious reason

4)    Winner is decided on best of 3 sets

Shotput(Men & Womwn)

1)     Max 3 throws for the participants whose first throw crosses a benchmark length, which will be decided by the officials
