SJC Expenses

Friends,

We are planning a 2 day event for SJC. We have worked out a rough estimate of the expenses and here it is. Please let us know your suggestions and thoughts. You can see that the grand buffet lunch sponsored by Alumni as most expensive and total expected strength for this is around 1500 people. Have a look,

 

Is it a BIG amount?? We can achieve this target easily if at least first 10 batches can contribute around 40000 each. Rs. 500 from an alumnus from each batch is good enough to meet our target... Also keep in mind that there are even alumni who can donate the full amount required for the event.

Let’s take it as our chance and responsibility to GIVE BACK. We are not setting any limit. Contribute whatever you can. 500 or 1000 or 2000 or 5000 or 10000 or in lakhs... If there is some excess amount, that will completely utilized for charity purposes. We are planning scholarships, career guidance, and many other things....

We are in the process of registering our alumni as an NGO ("JNVI Alumni Association"). Joby Mathew (1^st batch) and Aneesh Baby (7^th batch) are taking the initiatives to form that. It will take at least one - two weeks to get it registered and then to start bank account in the name of alumni. We cannot wait that long for fund raising. Given below are account details of Aneesh Baby of 7^th batch. You can deposit the contributions to his account and the details of the contribution will be published in a Google doc (will update every day or in two days) for transparency. Whole amount will be moved to the association account once it is formed.
